Welcome to AgoraLive, operated at agoralive.tv. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use AgoraLive. By checking the age confirmation box you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older.

2. Nature of the Service

AgoraLive randomly pairs users for live video debates. We do not control, curate, or endorse any statements made by users. Debates are not recorded or stored by us.

3. Recording Notice

By using AgoraLive you acknowledge that your debate partner or any third party may be recording, streaming, or broadcasting the session. AgoraLive does not control or prohibit such recording. You participate with full awareness that your image, voice, and statements may be captured and shared publicly. If you do not consent to being recorded or streamed, do not use the Site.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to: transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content; engage in or promote hate speech or violence; impersonate any person or entity; use the Site for spam or bot activity; attempt to circumvent any technical measures; or use the Site in violation of any applicable law. Violations may result in immediate termination of access.

5. No Endorsement of User Content

AgoraLive acts solely as a passive conduit. We do not pre-screen or moderate debate content. Any views expressed by users are their own and do not represent ours.

6. Section 230 Notice

AgoraLive is an interactive computer service under 47 U.S.C. 230. We are not the publisher or speaker of user content.

7. Reporting

Users may report harmful conduct using the in-debate Report feature. Reports are reviewed at our discretion with no guaranteed response time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. YOUR USE IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGORALIVE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AgoraLive and its operators from any claims arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

11. Privacy

We do not store video or audio from debates. We may collect IP addresses and session data for matchmaking and abuse prevention. We do not sell your data.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in Texas courts.
